Hutton & Hutton has been created by husband and wife team Emma and Charlie, their years of commercial experience and life long passion for creating clean, calm, simple interiors, using neutral white tones and natural textures has been the inspiration for their business.

Emma and Charlie Hutton were childhood sweet hearts, meeting when Emma moved next door to Charles in their very early teenage years.

In the early years Emma trained to be a professional ballet dancer at Londons ‘Central School of Ballet’ but after a dancing injury, her life long dream collapsed. At this point she found herself heading into the world of interior/fashion retail, working firstly at branches of Laura Ashley and then moving onto Mulberry as International Press Officer, and was part of the transition of Mulberry from family owned business to global luxury brand. After Mulberry she moved into interior PR where her passion for interiors was re-fired.

Charlie in the mean while had been training as a graphic designer/typographer at ‘The London Institute’ and was now creative director at a Covent Garden design agency marketing well known luxury brands. He now heads up his own thriving Design Agency in Sussex and spends a hectic but satisfying day between both businesses.

After years of the London bustle, and now 26 years later, Emma and Charlie have moved back to the south coast where it all began, to start a family of their own. With both daughters Poppy and Jessica now at school, Hutton & Hutton home furnishings was finally born.
